Ahead of the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple consecration ceremony in Ayodhya on January 22, students in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi created a five-foot-long diya from Ganga river dirt to be lit on the big day, according to reports.?
One of the students who constructed the diya told PTI that it took them 10 days to create the lamp, which is 5 feet long, 4 feet broad, and 1.5 feet tall. They even intend to send the gigantic diya to Ayodhya.
Champat Rai, general secretary of the Ram Temple Trust, has revealed information on the Lord Ram idol that would be erected in the temple. Rai stated that the idol is in the shape of a five-year-old child, fashioned of dark stone, and stands 51 inches tall.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the opening of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22. He will execute the ceremonies in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram Temple at about 12.15 p.m.Over 7,000 guests have received invitations to the consecration ceremony, including 3,000 VVIPs such as priests, donors, and politicians.?
In addition, many tent towns are being built in the temple town to accommodate the thousands of devotees who are anticipated to gather for Ram Lalla's pran-pratishtha on January 22.?
