Bridgerton enthusiasts who paid $300 (?25,000) for an authentic Regency Era ball experience were disappointed since the event was disorganized.?The "Bridgerton Themed Ball," organized by a Detroit event management business, was unrelated to the smash hit Netflix period drama famed for its elaborate costumes and luxurious locations.?
Fans paid hundreds of dollars for tickets and costumes to attend the event, which was described as a "step into the enchanting world of the Regency-era for an evening of sophistication, grace and historical charm."

Uncle & Me LLC, an event-organizing business, promised visitors a "Bridgerton-themed ball with prizes, giveaways, and more." Tickets to the ball cost $300, and admirers spent much more on costumes and jewellery, eager to attend a night of Regency-style dancing and merriment. The organisers also promoted a "play/performance" as well as live music for the event.?
Instead, what they discovered at the location was a disorganized jumble.?
According to Rachel, an X user who had purchased a ticket to the event but was unable to attend owing to the postponement, the advertised "live music" consisted of a single violinist performing solo.?
The food served at the 'party' was undercooked and ran out after an hour. Nobody was there to clear the plates, thus dirty dishes accumulated on the venue's few tables.
