But do you think you'd ever spend that kind of money on buying yourself a bull??Well, someone did and yes, this happened in India.
A bull at the Krishi Mela in Bengaluru was valued at a whopping Rs 1 crore price. But that was not it, the bull's semen is being sold off at Rs 1000 per dose. The bull was dressed up and decorated with vibrant ornaments at the Krishi Mela.
According to?news agency ANI, the bull is 3 and a half years old and its name is Krishna. It became the centre of attraction at the fair thanks to its expensive price. Generally, bulls in Indian fairs are sold for a maximum price of Rs 1-2 lakhs but this breed is completely rare and found sacred in many parts of the country.?
?People on the internet couldn't believe that a bull was sold for such an expensive price and asked why was that so.?

The reason why this bull and its semen is so expensive is that it is the Hallikar breed which is the mother of all cattle breeds.?It is commonly found in the traditional Hallikar belt of Mysore, Mandya, Hassan and Tumkur districts of South Karnataka.?
It is one of the two breeds, along with Amrit Mahal, which has received the royal patronage and care from the erstwhile Maharajas of Mysore State through conservation and development. The breed is said to be the origin of Amrit Mahal cattle.?
It is white to light grey in colour. Young breeding bulls have dark shades on shoulders and hindquarters. Horns emerge near each other from the top of the poll and are carried straight, upward and backward, till nearly half the length and then orient slightly forward and inward with pointed tips. White markings or irregular patches around the eyes, cheeks, neck or shoulder region are also found.?
The owner of the bull - Krishna also revealed that it¡¯s currently in ¡°high demand¡± because of the breed.?
Despite the fact that a bull was sold at such an expensive price, these animals in general are quite ferocious. Recently, a tourist in Yellowstone National Park, US got chased by an angry bull elk after he tried getting too close to the herd of bulls. The video was captured by many tourists.
