A family in the United Kingdom advertised a job for a full-time dog sitter with a yearly income of $127,227 (nearly Rs 1 crore). The exciting position asks for a highly skilled individual who can provide care and attention to their two pets.?
The family's full-time nanny would live with them in Knightsbridge, Central London, and would even join the pets on vacation. Organising playdates, monitoring food supplies, scheduling vet appointments, and ensuring overall well-being were the responsibilities listed.
The job advertisement, which was originally posted by Fairfax and Kensington, a private staff recruitment agency in London, drew a lot of attention.
Recruiter George Dunn claimed that this is the first time his company has advertised for a dog nanny position, and the response has been extraordinary. Since the job posting was placed last week, approximately 400 people have expressed interest.
In an interview with Kennedy News, George Dunn stated, "The salary associated with it is pretty unheard of." Even as a vet, you'd struggle to earn that much money."
"The clients are billionaires searching for best-in-class service, thus they're willing to pay for their dogs. People seek the best when money is no object, and you attract the best with the best wage."?
The ideal candidate, according to Dunn, is "not too big of a character and is good at blending into the background." They should also know when to take the initiative and carry out their responsibilities.?
The website's removed job advertisement also specified that applicants must be willing to work unusual hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in order to satisfy the dogs' demands and accommodate the family's schedule. Furthermore, the ideal candidate must be able to handle sensitive material in a highly discreet manner.?
"There are six weeks off a year, but when you're dealing with these types of clients, if they want to go to Monaco tomorrow, you'd be on a private jet with those dogs."?
"You really do need to drop everything and be there when they call, and put your personal life on hold," George Dunn added and elected not to disclose any information about the dogs' breed.?
