In an interview with Fortune magazine, the influencer outlined why she wants to go from full-time content creation to a corporate role. Ana Wolfermann said she started posting on TikTok during her freshman year of college.?
However, she has suddenly realized that her life has become entirely focused on what she will post on social media.
Making content during the COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on Ana. It has caused her to become more self-centered and anxious. Despite this, Ana is well-known for sharing her fashion and beauty looks, earning over a lakh followers in the process.?
She told the outlet, "When I was in college, a lot of the people I looked up to and eventually wanted to follow in their footsteps professionally were full-time influencers. So I was quite excited to graduate to full-time influence and continue to grow."?
However, after six months, she began to doubt her goals. She did not want her entire existence to be about "how can I market my life?'"
She admitted that it "can be very unsettling" when a person becomes both the brand and the product. She said that her entire life revolved on what she could offer with her fans. "It just led me down a very narcissistic and anxious route," she went on to say.?
Furthermore, she claimed that one of the reasons why so many people idolise social media and want to work there full-time is that it pays well and offers many amazing opportunities.?
Ana is aware that her new work will not pay as much as her previous content production position, but she is nonetheless enthusiastic about it.?
