Meet Brian Stanley from the U.S. who is probably the coolest person you'll ever know. He works in manufacturing and engineering, with medical implant devices. His story first surfaced in 2022 after one of his Instagram videos explaining his story went viral with over a million views.?
Recently, his video was shared again on Reddit on September 9, where it managed to amass likes again.?According to reports, he lost his eye to cancer when he was only six years old. Years later he turned his prosthetic eye into a Titanium Cyborg Eye which meant he could use it as a flashlight, something he fondly refers to as his "titanium skull lamp."
In the clip that continues to collect views, he explains,?"I lost my eye to cancer so I made this and turned my head into a flashlight."
He then explained that the "eye lamp" came with a battery life of roughly 20 hours. "And no it does not get hot."
"Many of you have asked how well it functions as a flashlight," he said addressing questions he received in the past about his eye while walking around in a dark room and giving a demonstration.?
He also shared how likes to call it his "Titanium Skull Lamp" since it's perfect for reading in the dark as well.For those wondering how safe it is, he revealed: "Power source and all hardware is safely contained inside."
On his Instagram, Stanley has shared several videos where he discusses the mass of his "cyborg eyes" and whether or not they feel heavy:
