The 80-year-old man was reportedly mistreated by his son and daughter-in-law, and as a result, the man gave his property, which was worth one crore rupees, to the governor of Uttar Pradesh with the provision that either a school or a hospital be built on it.?
Nathu Singh, a Khatoli town resident living in an old people's home, said that he had filed an affidavit with the sub-registrar's office to give over his land to the governor of Uttar Pradesh. Singh is originally from the village of Biral.
The total value of the donation is around one crore rupees.
According to statements made to the TOI by Nathu Singh, who resides in an old age home since his son and daughter-in-law do not treat him correctly, the decision to transfer the land to the governor was made so that it might be put to productive use.
