Everywhere from upscale shops like Khan Market in Delhi to housing complexes in Mumbai, Mithila, the birthplace of Sita in Bihar, and Ramanagara district in Karnataka, where Lord Ram once travelled while in exile, is preparing for the D-Day with much pomp.?
Meanwhile, Paris, which is referred to as the City of Love, is located more than 7,000 kilometres from Ayodhya and will host a Rath Yatra 24 hours ahead of the actual event in India.
Under the banner of "Ayodhya Mandir Mahotsav," Indian expatriates in Paris have arranged two celebrations on January 21 to honour the "glory of Lord Ram."?
The organisers informed the media?that the event was scheduled for Sunday to maximise attendance.?
The 'Ram Rath Yatra' will begin from Place De La Chapelle at noon and end at Place De Trocadero, which is home to the famous Eiffel Tower, at 3 pm. At 10.30 am, the yatra will begin with prayers and the 'Vishwa Kalyan Yagna' at a Ganesha temple in La Chapelle, according to organisers who spoke with News18.?There will be a lavish puja and aarti, prasad distribution, and a cultural show.?
Following that, the yatra will pass by the famous Arc de Triomphe, the Mus¨¦e de Louver (Louver Museum), Place De La Republique, and Place De Trocadero.?
The chief organizer and president of the Overseas Friends of the BJP in France, Avinash Mishra told News18 that between 150 and 200 people are expected to join the yatra. The number can even go up to a?thousand as more and more people gather for the puja and cultural event.
According to the report, over 400 people have already registered so far.

Large cutouts of Lord Ram are scheduled to be installed all around the Eiffel Tower.?Additionally, there will be a cultural event where songs of Lord Ram will be sung.
