Football fans are storming to Qatar in huge numbers to catch the FIFA World Cup, and neighbouring cities are grabbing the opportunity with lucrative deals for incoming football lovers.?
This time, Dubai has come up with the offer of luxurious yachts for people who don't have a FIFA ticket but want to catch the game. Here are the details.
Dubai is serving luxury on a platter to tourists without tickets who wish to catch FIFA World Cup matches. Now, the city has gathered a?fleet of luxurious yachts for?fans who want to watch the World Cup in style.
People who couldn't get tickets to the event, can choose to spend thousands of dollars to view games on a big screen from the top deck of a $20,000-a-night yacht, against a backdrop of Dubai's stunning skyline.?
"This one is for 20,000 dollar for an overnight charter," Xclusive Yachts marketing manager Jainney Thakker told AFP, pointing out the boat's features.
Dubai, the United Arab Emirates city, which is an hour's flight from this year's World Cup host Qatar, is among the Gulf destinations expecting to make money out of a spillover of fans seeking more accommodation options and easier access to alcohol in Dubai instead of Qatar.?The yachts are a part of that plan.?
True to Dubai's legacy, one such yacht is the three-storey, 43-metre vessel that also has a big screen. The luxury yacht also features a jacuzzi, a bar with a swanky lounge with L-shaped couches and a glittering crystal leopard statue for all the party feels.?
"We have a chef on board who offers gourmet cuisine from all over the world, as well as free-flowing champagne," Thakker added.?The boat can accommodate up to 125 people and is among a number of pristine white yachts docked at Dubai's Marina Harbour.?
Along with an overnight stay at the yacht, the same company is also offering a different package where you can sail to Qatar during the World Cup. The package costs a whopping $100,000 for an almost six-day trip.?
Talking more about the yacht, one of the rooms in it houses a large dining table surrounded by upholstered chairs and bouquets of white roses, glass plates and silver cutlery, as per reports. There is also an?outdoor jacuzzi which will offer uninterrupted views from the stern.?
The company has received more than 15 nightly bookings so far, mostly for groups of two to three people as informed by Thakker.?"The people who are booking with us are definitely the real VIPs... you know owners of supercars, some of the really creme (de la creme) crowd," she reportedly said.?
