Anand Mahindra, a social media-savvy millionaire, appears to have deleted a vociferous X account in response to criticism for "not questioning" the government about the country's unemployment rate.The user, who goes by "Gss", uploaded a screenshot indicating that they are unable to read Mahindra's profile or postings as a result of a recent statement directed at the businessman.

It all started when the Pro-AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) Xer chastised him over his reaction to a video of YouTuber Christopher Lewis learning that Tarun Rayan, the owner of a part-time food kiosk in Chennai, is actually a PhD candidate at SRM University.? ?

“What struck me as truly special, however, was the end, when he picks up his phone & the vlogger thinks he’s going to show him social media mentions of his stall—but instead, he proudly shows him online the research papers he has authored,” Mahindra wrote while sharing the clip on X.?

The piece received varied reactions, including criticism for its apparent "romanticism" of middle-class hardships.

Commenting on it, GSS asked,“What nonsense is this Anand Mahindra? Stop sensationalizing the failures of Indian Gov where it cant give a Job to a PHD holder & is now has to earn by a food stall. Will you have your son/daughter do an MBA & then ask them to put a Thella? Then why sensationalizing it?”

Mahindra has subsequently barred the X user from further commenting on his postings.However, as Gss doubled down, the millionaire, who has over 11 million Instagram followers, faced even more criticism.?
