Blake Lively is under fire after director Justin Baldoni launched a website in an effort to refute claims made by his?It Ends with Us co-star. The site, which went live on February 1, features two key documents and is intended to present evidence, including correspondence and videos, to counter Lively's allegations, as announced by Baldoni's legal team.
Blake Lively is facing the heat online after her alleged flirty texts to Justin Baldoni, 'exposed' on his newly launched website, went viral online. One particular text, which has grabbed eyeballs, has Blake discussing an intimate scene from their movie with Baldoni while suggesting, "I can act it out for you." In response to her alleged flirty text, Baldoni is seen talking about crying over his wife and kids leaving for five weeks.
In the message, dated April 8, 2023, Lively mentions her preference for a "flirty and yummy" dynamic, which she describes as her "love language."?
The message reads, "I can send you my pass at the roof or just read with you when we get together next week. Let me know what you prefer. If you knew me (in person) longer, you'd have a sense of how flirty and yummy the ball-busting would play. It's my love language. Spicy and playfully bold, never with teeth. And him serving it back to her is just as important. You don't usually see both the man and the woman with such agency and humor. Anyway, I can act it out for you next week to make sure it comes through, or I can send it now. Let me know what you prefer."
Baldoni replies, "Sorry¡ªI was just crying my eyes out as kids and family just left for another 2 weeks, and it was a shit show."
Blake's text has been termed 'suggestive' and 'flirty' by netizens, who believe she clearly crossed boundaries of professionalism with her alleged sexual innuendo, and if the gender were reversed, she would have been the one facing sexual assault charges.
"Imagine if your husband found out you were texting your colleague that he¡¯d know how flirty and yummy you were if only he knew you longer. Blake really lost her damn mind," one user wrote.
Another added, "I wonder how it¡¯s going at the Reynolds-Lively household. Ryan Reynolds is seeing these texts possibly in real-time with the rest of the world. Oof!"?"I know this is for the movie and she's describing the character, albeit a little weird, but this is not a text you send to a man that's sexually abusing you, let alone his reply, which shows no interest," wrote another individual on X.
?"I think Blake seriously blurred the line between her own personality/reality and her character, immersing herself in a role that was way out of her league," commented another.
Another person noted, ¡°Never with teeth¡± is CRAZY. Could have been passed off as friendly and silly talking about the script, but she threw in that sexual innuendo. And I¡¯ve been trying to avoid her flirtation (because her supporters use it as a scapegoat), but him bringing up his wife every time says it all."
?"I cannot wait for this to go to court. This will be better than Amber Heard. Fake Lively and Cryin Reynolds are going to regret this," commented another.
Justin Baldoni's website, aimed at addressing Blake Lively's claims, is now live. The site currently features two key documents: a 224-page "Amended Complaint" that outlines the grievances of Baldoni and his production company against Lively, and a 168-page "Timeline of Relevant Events" that chronicles the events surrounding the adaptation of Colleen Hoover's novel It Ends With Us into a film, starting from January 2019 when Baldoni first approached the author.
