Sometimes when you visit fancy restaurants, and get the bill after a sumptuous meal, you probably wonder what the hell are they charging so much for. But at a restaurant you are also paying for the ambiance and services. We have not yet gotten over Rahul Bose¡¯s tweet about being charged Rs 442.50 bucks for 2 bananas at a hotel in Chandigarh, and another such bizarre case has propped up.?
A Twitter user shared a picture of a Mumbai hotel bill. Among other things, what strikes us the most is the price of boiled eggs. He was charged Rs 1,700 for 2 boiled eggs!?
?
The Twitter user by the handle @KartikDhar tagging Rahul Bose in his post wrote ¡®Bhai Aandolan karein?¡¯
He was also charged Rs 850 for an omelette. This makes us wonder, was the chicken that delivered this eggs made of gold, or the eggs themselves? One could have an entire day¡¯s meal in Rs 1700, at good restaurants, and still might end up saving some change. Obviously, people went gaga over this outrageous bill and just like us, could not understand, what the hell was going on.?

Rahul Bose had posted a video with a caption,¡¯You have to see this to believe it. Who said fruit wasn¡¯t harmful to your existence?¡¯?

After the video came to the notice of Excise and Taxation Department, JW Marriott Chandigarh was fined with Rs 25,000 for violation of section 11 of CGST (illegal collection of tax on an exempted item).?
