One of the few questions that baffle humanity has been the same for decades: do aliens exist??
According to the first British astronaut who went to space, they do and they are living here on earth, among us, invisibly.?
Dr Helen Sharman was 27 years old when she visited Russia's Mir space station in May 1991. She was a food chemist. She was selected to be an astronaut from among 13,000 other people. After almost 30 years of that achievement, the Sheffield-born national hero said extraterrestrial life could be existing already on earth.?
Dr Sharman told the Observer Magazine, "Aliens exist, there¡¯s no two ways about it. There are so many billions of stars out there in the universe that there must be all sorts of different forms of life. Will they be like you and me, made up of carbon and nitrogen? Maybe not. It¡¯s possible they¡¯re here right now and we simply can¡¯t see them."
Even though she was the first British person to go to space, people refer to her as the ¡®first British woman in space¡¯. She believes that "some people simply forgot about me" when British astronaut Tim Peake went to space after her.?
What makes Dr Shamon believe that aliens exist on earth we don't know. However, the feeling of knowing that someone might be invisibly around us, watching us maybe even manipulating us in ways we know not, is creepy.?
