A woman in Brazil got tired of her neighbor's dog barking all the time, so she buried it alive in her backyard. According to a story in UK-based Express, the 82-year-old woman confessed to burying the dog Nina in the municipality of Planura.
The news outlet said the dog was eventually found to be healthy.
Several Brazilian news agencies shared a video of the dog emerging from underground.
According to Express, it took almost two hours to locate and find the dog and then another hour and a half to get it out and transport it to a veterinarian.
"Don't let her come over here anymore." When the police questioned the 82-year-old, she told them she would "bury it again."
