Then, just a couple of days ago, two different videos from Hyderabad had emerged on social media, one showing three puppies being burnt alive, while the second one showed a dog being shot dead.
Now another sickening story is being reported from Bengaluru, where animal activists came across a mass grave of street dogs in the city.

It still remains a mystery who is behind the mass murder of these many dogs. While some have pointed fingers at the BBMP which in the past have resorted to mass killing to check the street dog menses.
However activists said the killed dogs seemed healthy and don't appear to be street dogs.
"Most of the dogs buried in the pit seem very healthy. They might have been killed. No NGO or person can resort to such a massacre," said Naveen Kumar.
