Keith Gordon has been dubbed "Britain's most tattooed man," and he has now revealed his goal of tattooing every single area of his body.?
Keith, 67, has only 3% of his skin left intact, including his entire head, lips, and eyelids, but it isn't enough, he still wants more.?
The self-proclaimed 'tattoo addict' has no idea how many tats he has or how much his body art costs, but his head and face ink alone cost him ?6,000.Though his biggest issue isn't affording the ink, it's finding a place for it and coming up with new designs that he doesn't already have.
"I've got absolutely everything I could have already - it's hard to think of what else to get to fill the spaces!" Keith, from Romford, Essex, remarked.?
The father of three didn't start getting tattoos until he was 52, but now he has hundreds from head to toe.His most recent tattoo was the words 'f*** off' on his lower calf, one of the few body areas that still has blank space.?
Keith, a former office administrator, estimates that only three percent of his skin is intact, and he intends to cover this with shading to leave him totally covered with tats.
"I have no regrets about my appearance, though it makes basic tasks more difficult," he remarked. "I get stares all the time, and people come up to me and ask if they hurt and how much they cost."
"However, being heavily tattooed is like an addiction." You're looking for the high and ecstasy that comes with getting additional tattoos, each more ridiculous than the previous."
Right now, I just want to get rid of any white spaces." Now I'm aiming for comprehensive coverage."Keith, the self-proclaimed "coolest looking guy in Essex," has been in EastEnders and Jurassic Park due to his distinct appearance.?
He got his first tattoos when he was 17, but had to have several skin grafts removed four years later. He then went tattoo-free until he was in his fifties.Keith went full circle and took the look to new heights, tattooing the majority of his body, including his eyelids.?
Now, almost no skin is visible, and the 67-year-old has spent tens of thousands of pounds on his look."I'm not sure how many there are in total." I've lost track. "It's just one big project," he explained. "However, having my entire head tattooed was a very extreme, intense experience."?
"At times it was very, very painful, especially around the corners of the eyes, the lip, and parts of the inner ear - that was absolutely killer."In public, the retired federal servant is frequently glanced at and accosted, but he doesn't mind being questioned about his appearance.?
"I am treated differently because I look like I do," he explained. "I see it as living outside the box, even if doing basic things can be difficult.""Whenever I have people come to my house - workmen, delivery drivers, plumbers - I have to tell them over the phone that 'I don't look anything like I sound.'"?
Keith has made it his latest quest, against his wife's objections, to obtain "total coverage" save for that beneath his boxers. He has some more common tats, such as the names of his wife and children, as well as some "satanic" designs with a devil."It's like a high, an addiction." "You're looking for more euphoria, more outrageous," Keith explained.?
