Exploring caves can be extremely dangerous and anxiety-inducing.?Caves are often dark, and visibility can be extremely limited, making navigation difficult.?Divers or spelunkers can become disoriented and lose their way, potentially leading to panic or exhaustion.?
But there are people who do it without fear and share their experiences on?social media, for all of you to get inspired or maybe get a lesson.?
YouTube cave explorers ActionAdventureTwins are identical twin explorers who have gone viral for their antics.Their videos are both fascinating and even mildly upsetting at times.
Their most viral moment came when they couldn't find their way out of the 119th longest cave in the United States, which has a length of 31,490 feet and a depth of 235 feet.?
The twins stated that they 'went past the point of severe anxiety' in order to discover the end of Pettyjohn cave, and viewers were finding it difficult to watch.
The clip seemed like a real-life horror movie at points as the man squeezed through the narrow rocky openings that were far lower than he thought."I thought it was going to get wider but as I'm getting closer, I realise it's an illusion," he says to the camera.?
Without the light from his camera, the adventurer would have been completely alone after appearing to have lost his brother for a brief while. This is my worst nightmare: being squeezed between two rock walls, with barely enough room to move my hands and legs.
"You guys are great!" One viewer commented.
"I can't believe people enjoy doing this," said another. This appears to be really frightening to me. They are also really relaxed and appear to be having a good time. Unbelievable."?
The pair had been stranded in the cave for 6 hours and 11 minutes. In a similar video that has gone viral on TikTok, one of the brothers gets stuck in the smallest of spaces."I feel like I'm getting stuck," he muttered as he found himself wedged between two rocks.?
"I'm having trouble getting my arm in front of me." This is ridiculous."And I can't turn around right now.""I feel like I got to keep going.""Maybe I can turn around," he says, eventually finding his way out of the space.?
"Wow look at the walls here," the YouTuber says, as viewers wonder if risking your life like that is worth it."I don't understand how anyone could enjoy doing this," said one.?
"What happens if they reach a complete dead end?" said another. "Or are these caves already well explored and mapped out?!""You said it yourself, it IS insane!" replied someone else.?
