A woman has had an absolute nightmare after she booked a?cosmetic?treatment at a hair salon thinking she could get a confidence boost.?
But it didn't go well at all, as she was left looking like "the Elephant man" and even feared she would die. Sara Gibson, ended up in a hospital?after suffering a horrific allergic reaction following a ?400 procedure performed at a salon.
It has been alleged a beautician injected Gibson with a product which manufacturers said should only be used by qualified dermatologists before trying to refer the side effects with a follow-up jab.??
Sara said she was left with a badly swelling jaw and lumps under her skin, and even said she thought she was "going to die" as she "looked like the Elephant Man".
Sara told?the Daily Record: "At one point, I honestly thought I was going to die because I felt so ill. I looked like the Elephant Man.?I'd never had anything done before so at the time I wasn¡¯t aware of any implications."?

After being left?with a badly swollen jaw and lumps under her skin, Sara?is now launching a legal action against the beautician named Inglis, who treated her at Venue salon in Berwick, two miles south of the Scottish Border.
Sara twice visited the emergency unit at a local hospital.?
She was prescribed a course of steroids and eventually came under the care of an aesthetic medical professional who continued treatment for 10 weeks before the problem was resolved.
Sara obtained client notes from Venue which showed she had been injected with Bliss, which is made by Israeli firm Dr Korman Laboratories.
The doctor revealed to Sara that hyaluronidase can trigger anaphylaxis ¨C a life-threatening allergic reaction.
At least Sara Gibson is lucky it didn't result in any major reaction than the one she endured.?
