Similar to the plot of the film Drishyam, a woman is accused of killing her husband with the help of her lover and another acquaintance and then burying his body on the property where their under-construction home is located.
The authorities are trying to track down Gaurav, a mason who is the third suspect. On January 10, Chotelal, a resident of Ghaziabad, filed a missing person's report, reporting that his brother, Satish Pal, had been missing for a week.?
Harpal, a frequent visitor to Neetu and Satish's home in Gaur City, was located by the police. During police interrogation, Harpal broke down and admitted that he killed Satish with Neetu and Gaurav's help.
Harpal, a mason, planned to have Neetu help him murder Satish so they could bury his body in a neighborhood plot.
Satish implicated Gaurav. They were building a home on the land. Neetu drugged Satish's drink on January 2. After he fell asleep, she and the others strangled him. They strangled him again with a towel to make sure he was dead.
"They then dragged the body to a nearby plot where a neighbor was building a house. Harpal and Gaurav buried the body and built a septic tank over it," said Vishal Pandey, the additional DCP.?
"Once we had the information, we obtained permission from the house owner to dig the portion of the plot where the remains were discovered on Saturday night. They were sent for an autopsy."
They were charged under IPC sections 302 (murder), 201 (causing disappearance of evidence or supplying false information to screen the offender), 34 (common intention), and 120B (criminal conspiracy).?
The murder plot mirrored "Drishyam," but Pandey said the trio didn't copy it.
