Heavy Rains & Hailstorm Leave Delhi-NCR Covered In 'Almost Snow' & The Pics Are Unbelievable!

Did it really snow in Delhi-NCR yesterday? The city and it's surrounding areas looked like a hill station with roads and highways covered in thick blanket of hail. It was after a decade that Delhi and the NCR saw such heavy hailstorm along with heavy rain.

Residents couldn't believe the 'almost snow' but they did post a lot of pictures and videos of the ‘winter wonderland,' and you'll have to see them to believe it.

The places which were covered by the hailstones were mainly Noida’s sector 93, sector 137 and Yamuna Expressway.?

The minimum temperature in Delhi settled at 15 degrees while the maximum temperature was recorded at 19.1 degrees.

With rains, there is always a halt in airline services; 23 domestic and nine international flights were diverted from Delhi due to the bad weather, reported ANI.

"Minimum temperatures are likely to fall by 4 to 6 degrees Celsius over northwest India from February 8. A fresh western disturbance is likely to affect the whole of northwest India from February 10 onwards," a weather department bulletin said.
