An eatery in?Jaipur?recently put such lovers to the ultimate test. It currently serves a 32-inch paratha and has challenged foodies to finish two such parathas in one hour.?
If they are successful, they will receive Rs. 1 lakh. This paratha is also regarded as the largest paratha in the world. This shop is called Jaipur Paratha Junction, and it is located on Vijay Path, New Sanganer Road, in Jaipur.?
The size of this paratha typically surprises people. Apart from 32-inch parathas, 18-inch parathas are also available. Jaipur Paratha Junction produces 74 different types of parathas.
Only the 32-inch paratha is eligible for the challenge. This 32-inch paratha, known as Bahubali, is the largest at Jaipur Paratha Junction; it is served with three types of chutney, raita, pickle, and vegetables.?
According to the restaurant staff, this paratha comfortably serves eight people. In addition to the award for eating two 32-inch parathas, the victor will receive lifelong free parathas from Jaipur Paratha Junction.
This task appears to be appealing and simple, yet many customers have given up or failed halfway through. Satendra Singh, the restaurant's head cook, told Local18 that making a 32-inch paratha takes a lot of effort.?
A 5-foot tawa weighing more than 50 kg is used to produce this paratha. "You'll need a big rolling pin measuring 40 inches to make this paratha," Satendra Singh explained.?
He further claims that this paratha is made from 20 different ingredients. Cooking at the paratha requires two people. It is initially placed in the pan and cooked on high and low heat. Following that, butter is spread on both sides of the paratha.?
When the paratha is done, it is divided into large plates and served with a variety of chutneys. This 32-inch paratha will set you back Rs. 800. There are several sizes of paratha available, including ordinary, medium, large, and extra large.?
This eatery serves a variety of parathas, including potato, onion, cabbage, paneer, cheese, fenugreek, and others.?
