In a bizarre incident, a man dumped his wife and moved out of their home after she gave birth to their?fifth set of twins.?
Nalongo Gloria, from Uganda, gave birth to the couple's ninth and tenth child. However, her husband Ssalongodescribed it as 'abnormal' and abandoned her following the labour.
Instead of celebrating the imminent arrival of more kids?for their growing family, the father left.
¡°When I got pregnant with twins on the third day, the man said this is too much for him and told me to go home.?Where he was sending me, I didn't have their numbers anymore because I came to Kampala to work as a house girl,"?Gloria told?NTV Mwasuze Mutya.?
"I don't regret giving birth to all these children. I know their father doesn't like them, and I can't drop them at his place. Despite the challenges, I will never abandon my kids. I know God will provide.?I handed my things to the Lord. I have suffered but God knows best," she added.?
She revealed some of her older children have already left and one has even died.?
Gloria now faces being forced to find a new home as her landlord told her he doesn't want "her or her luggage".
During the lockdown, Nalongo could not be able to sustain her family together while paying rent.
The arrears continued to rise and she was forced to look for another place to survive with her young ones.
A woman from Ahmedabad was put in a rather difficult situation after she separated from her husband and the man who was her?sperm?donor, took away her twin sons.
According to The Times of India, the 45-year-old woman went through an IVF treatment on her husband's persistence after four years of marriage.?Since she was unable to conceive naturally, she gave?birth to twin?sons through insemination.?
The report further added that the family was leading a happy life until the husband started to drink.?One thing led to another and the husband's alcoholism led to them having arguments about him not being the twins' natural father. The man also accused his wife of being in touch with the sperm donor.?
Not wanting to put up with domestic abuse, the woman separated from her husband and moved away with her sons. However, after her separation, the sperm donor, ten years younger than her, made contact with her. The couple slowly became close.
Eventually, the donor - who ran a coaching centre for secondary and higher secondary school students - and the woman developed a relationship. The donor also started taking responsibility for the sons.? ?
Then the woman told him (the donor) that she was pregnant, but he turned her down when she brought up marriage.?
Then, making matters worse, the pandemic hit and the woman found it hard to sustain her job. That is when the donor took away the sons claiming they were his. He even refused to let her stay with them.?
