Many people, however, expressed their feelings on Russia and Ukraine, two countries that sent contestants to the pageant while being at odds.?

Miss Russia tried to intimidate Miss Ukraine?

Ukraine was represented by Viktoria Apanasenko, while Russia was represented by Anna Linnikova.Aside from the social media buzz around their participation in the competition, a very embarrassing incident between the two participants was noticed and debated by many on Twitter and other platforms.?

An audience member filmed Miss Russia attempting to enter the line-up near her Ukrainian counterpart. When Victoria noticed Anna's attempt at intimidation, she asked Miss Colombia to trade places, which she gladly did.?

The video was shared on Twitter by Ukrainian Babushka with the caption, "Miss Russia tries to intimidate Miss Ukraine by wanting to stand beside her? Miss Ukraine was disgusted & she requested Miss Columbia to switch places."

Miss Ukraine also wowed everyone with her costume round outfit. She wore engineered wings that later spread beautifully.?

Soon after the clip was shared on Twitter, several users shared their thoughts about the moment.?

A man wrote, "Who knows if she came with a poison needle ? She wore jeans , with pockets."

Another wrote, "I think she wants to invade Miss Ukraine for her superior beauty, but Seychelle and Colombia wont let her. lol."

A lady thought, "She was probably given orders to stand by her for photos/vids so they can use this in their propaganda “see!!! Ukraine and russia are real friends, [insert event] should be out of politics! Lift sanctions! Stop weapons supplies..” and so on."

A woman wrote, "She did right otherwise there would have been “look- they are brotherly nation, they are one people” rhetoric again. And miss Russia, as diligent FSB agent tried her best to complete her mission. And when she saw Miss Ukraine changing places she closely and unhappy watched."

Miss USA won Miss Universe 2022?

At the latest Miss Universe 2022 pageant, R'Bonney Gabriel of the?United?States was crowned Miss Universe 2022 on January 14 at a ceremony held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. It was the United States' first triumph in ten years and their ninth overall.

The?event featured contestants from 84 countries and territories and was hosted by American TV host Jeannie Mai and Miss Universe 2012, Olivia Culpo. This was the first Miss Universe pageant to be conducted under the management of Thailand-based JKN Global Group, which bought the Miss Universe Organization from WME/IMG in 2022.
