Potatoes in any form are comforting. There can't be anything more delectable than a basket of fried potatoes. But are you a fan enough to spend over Rs. 15,000 on a plate of French Fries??
For National French Fry Day, a New York restaurant revealed it would serve a $200 plate of french fries that have been certified as the world's most expensive by Guinness World Records.
These fries are made with ingredients like Chipperbeck potatoes, Dom Perignon champagne, J. LeBlanc French Champagne Ardenne vinegar, cage-free French goose fat, Guerande truffle salt, truffle oil, Crete Senesi Pecorino Tartufello cheese, shaved Italian black summer truffles, truffle butter, organic A2 A2 100 percent grass-fed cream from Jersey cows, Gruyere Truffled Swiss Raclette, and 23-karat edible gold dust sprinkle.
The famous French fries, which cost $200 for a serving, are prepared with premium Chipperbeck potatoes and cooked three times in Southwest French pure goose fat. The potatoes are also blanched in Dom Perignon Champagne and J. LeBlanc French Champagne Ardenne Vinegar for an additional flavor boost.
Requests for the famous French fries must be made 48 hours in advance of the reservation.
