When you travel via an aeroplane and pay for your pre-packed meal in advance, you expect nothing but the best quality food. You expect the food to be hot and definitely don't envision it with dead insects.?
Sadly, for a passenger travelling via Vistara Airlines, things were different. The passenger complained about finding a dead insect in his meal served during the flight.
This passenger, named Nikul Solanki, also tweeted about the same, showing the food with the insect, which was a dead cockroach, inside it. He shared pictures of his food, which was idli-sambhar and upma, in which he found the dead cockroach.
Solanki tweeted, saying, "Small cockroach in air Vistara meal".
Following the tweet, the official Twitter handle of Vistara Airlines acknowledged it. They swiftly replied to Solanki's tweet. "Hello Nikul, all our meals are prepared keeping the highest standards of quality in mind. Please send us your flight details over DM so we can look into the matter and address the issue at the earliest," the airlines replied.
People on the internet were also disgusted to know about this development and dissed the airlines for not keeping a hygiene check before serving meals. One user wrote, "Lately, the quality of food has been pathetic in Vistara. Even I had a bad experience with their Flight UK865 Dun to Bom 8th Oct."? Another user said, "Damn, for the price they take , they should have put a large one. Jokes apart. I feel terrible for you. This should never happen."??
