A distressing event unfolded recently when a family on a road trip in Bundaberg, Australia, saw a snake crawl out of their car's air conditioner vent abruptly halting their journey.?The unprepared family found themselves in a perilous situation as the reptile made an appearance on the scene causing a frenzy.
Fueled by adrenaline, they swiftly exited the vehicle seeking safety from the intruder. Maybe that's nature being nature or that's just how things work in Australia, but snakes popping out in unexpected places is never the most pleasant of moments. Here's what went on.?
It was while travelling along Elliott Heads Rd in Bundaberg, Queensland this week that the Aussie family encountered the yellow snake.?According to the daughter Lilly Divine, the father unexpectedly jumped while driving.?He promptly pulled over, informing the family that he believed there was a snake?in the car that had attempted to bite him.?
Taking precautions, the family exited the vehicle and waited for approximately five minutes.?Eventually, the snake emerged through the driver's side air conditioning vent.?The family speculates that the snake likely entered the car through a door that had been left open overnight.?
"Everyone began panicking," Lilly recounted. "We witnessed it emerging from the vent, but it relocated within the car, making it inaccessible to us."?
Having no other option, the family reluctantly re-entered the car and endured an uncomfortable 20-minute drive back home.?
In an attempt to encourage the snake to leave, Divine explained, "We left the car windows open overnight, hoping it would depart."?Fortunately, by morning, the snake had vanished.According to the family, they suspect it might have been a green tree snake and estimated its length to be just over a meter.
