In most companies, getting hungover is no excuse to not make it to work, because after all, it's the bad choices you made the night before that you're having to pay for then.?

But this company based out of the UK was pretty empathetic about the staff's needs. That and the goal to attract younger employees.
According to reports,?a digital marketing agency in the North West of England has taken a more flexible approach by letting staff work from home if they¡¯re feeling under the weather after?partying too hard.?
To spare their employees the misery of working with a hangover, and also to woo the younger staff, the marketing firm allows ¡°hangover days¡± in addition to the general flexible working policy.?

¡°It¡¯s promoting a trusting environment,¡±?Director Claire Crompton told CNBC, explaining that it worked on the condition that staff didn¡¯t use it excessively.?
"As a young person as well, a lot my friends are still at university, they might work shifts where they can¡¯t go out on Saturday or Sunday, so maybe I want to have a few drinks with them on a Thursday,¡±?Ellie Entwistle, a 19-year-old PR manager at the agency told CNBC.?
?¡°I¡¯m still obviously working (the next day) but it¡¯s just being able to say ¡®honestly I was hungover¡¯,¡± Entwistle added.?Entwhistle confirmed that non-drinkers are eligible for hangover days too.¡°It¡¯s for anyone who¡¯s had a late night,¡± she said.
So far, the policy at the company has proved a hit with employees. Here's hoping that companies in India can also emulate the same 'flexible and trusting' leave policy for employees.?
