In a video that has reignited the decades-old conversation about the system in India works, a recently uploaded video shows a traffic cop at Sai chowk in Pimpri, Maharashtra, allegedly accepting a bribe.
Going by the video, the incident unfolded next to a road with heavy traffic. Other cops can be seen standing close-by too.

The video opens with two women sitting on a scooter. While the driver doesn't get off, the other woman does. She walks up to the cop who then tells her to move to the side of the road. It seems like words were exchanged before the cop turned away from the woman she had stopped. In the very next scene the woman drops folded notes in the cop's back pocket.
All the while the men recording the video from afar can be heard giving comments and even laughing.

"We received the video on social media. It was filmed at Sai Chowk. Our departmental inquiry will figure out what happened at the spot. We have suspended the constable from service,"?DCP Pimpri-Chinchwad headquarters Sudhir Hiremath was quoted as saying by?Mumbai Mirror.? ?
"This gives out a clear message to those cops who have been indulging in such practices while performing their duties."
