It was an odd sight for some passengers?onboard airline flydubai from Tajikistan, when two men clad in Middle-Eastern attire nonchalantly walked down the aisle holding falcons.?
A tweet accompanied with the video says the birds of prey were ¡°emotional support falcons."
Twitter user @DonnieDoesWorld, whose bio says he is a foreign correspondent for Barstool Sports, posted the video in utter amazement saying, "Folks two dudes just boarded my plane with emotional support falcons."
He added that people were changing seats to get away from the predatory birds but he "volunteered to sit closer to them. They make me feel secure.¡±
Getting falcons as emotional support, for the uninitiated, is a very normal practice in middle eastern flights. In fact, some airlines like?Etihad Airlines, have specific policies in place for Falcons.
'Falcons are allowed to travel with the owners in the cabin. It's nothing new...we see it all the time here in the Gulf', one person tweeted. 'Don't be an ignoramus. Be curious. Learn about diff cultures'.
Here's how people reacted to the video:?
