The video of the incident has angered the internet, as the staff at the store failed to handle the two masked thieves stealing and then dropping the expensive devices into their bags. The incident took place during a Black Friday sale at the store. The two men saw it as the perfect opportunity to steal things from the Apple store.?
A video recorded by a customer shows the two men grabbing items from display tables and stuffing them in their bags. They are seen going around the store and putting everything in their bags while pushing customers aside.?
It is unknown if the two robbers had any weapons on them; no violence occurred?in the video. The shocking part is that they were stealing the items in broad daylight while the store was full of customers.?
As the robbers rushed through the store, a man can be heard saying in the video, "should we stop them?" and a second voice answers, "Let them go."
The caption of the video informs, "Two people walked into the Apple store on University Ave on Black Friday and began stealing i-pads & phones. All of this occurred as dozens of people watched."?
The caption further adds that the police didn't catch the two men as they ran into an alley. An eyewitness from the scene is quoted in the caption. He said, "police arrived about 20 seconds later. The two suspects ran into an alleyway next to the parking garage and cops barricaded it. I was there for 30 min after and they didn't end up finding them.¡±??
The two men remain unidentified.?
A man commented on the video and wrote, "This puts every future shoppers at risk. The employees might as well as helped them!"
Another added, "This is happening too often in California I¡¯ve seen it in person twice already and a lot online no consequences at all they¡¯re letting the criminals do whatever they want."?
A man informed, "Those phones are tracked bruh they obviously didn't do much thinking about this plan."?"Why is no one catching them? I don't see any weapon in their hands," wrote another confused user.??"
