Love triangles can be very complicated to say the least. To keep everyone happy in the relationship is arguably its biggest challenge. So, it's fair to say that love triangles are full of drama.?
When it comes to love affairs, we have known bizarre. However, this peculiar case of love triangle might be unlike anything we have seen before. Why? Because it apparently reached its climax through a coin toss.?Yes, as they couldn't come to an agreement, it was a coin toss that decide their fate.?
The incident which has all the makings of a Bollywood movie, took place at Sakleshpur Taluk of Hassan district in Karnataka. It all started a year ago when?a 27-year-old man from a village in Sakleshpur bumped into a 20-year-old girl from a neighboring village, News18 reported. The two started meeting and their relationship blossomed.?
Six months ago, the same man bumped into another from another village. Then history repeated itself - this relationship developed too. All this while, both girls were in the dark about the guy two-timing them.
It all took a fateful turn when a relative spotted the man with a girl and informed his father about it. The family confronted him about the said girl. He said he was in love with the girl and wanted to marry her. The family opposed his wish and decided to fix his wedding with someone else as soon as possible.
The story takes another twist when one of the girls learns about this and tells her family about her interest in the man. The said girl¡¯s family visits the man¡¯s house and tells them about the alleged affair that they learnt from their daughter. Meanwhile, the other girl not to be left out of the action also ends up at the man¡¯s house along with her family.??
Now, the guy¡¯s parents are in a fix as to what to be done in such a situation. By then, entire village had learnt about the love triangle.??
It took a Panchayat to finally come to a conclusion. While at the first instance, no solution could be found. It resulted in the Panchayat being dissolved. But at the second time of asking, it was unanimously decided by all parties concerned that a coin toss will decide which girl gets to marry the man.?
Until that very moment, the guy didn¡¯t express his wish or discuss his decision whatsoever.? ?
As per the News18?report,?there are two versions of what happened in the panchayat though both point to the same conclusion.
The first version tells that the toss played in favour of the first girl (the one who tried to commit suicide) and the guy readily agreed to marry her. There is a second version of the incident which says the guy finally made a decision and chose the first girl who was ready to die when she learnt she couldn¡¯t marry him.
You can't write scripts like these. Bollywood directors should be queuing up for this plot.?
