The snapshot of the bookstore has already gained widespread attention online, even though it appears to be a subtle jest directed at the memoir and its controversial content.

The bookshop also put the same photo and the funny message on its official Twitter account.

"Anyway, we do have some spare copies of Spare if you want one."

The photograph was taken in "Bert's Books," a bookstore in Swindon, England.?The picture shows the novel next to many copies of Prince Harry's autobiography.?

People seem to be intrigued by the bookstore's display, as seen by the countless positive comments it has received.

Speaking on the same, a bookstore staff member called it a ‘light-hearted’ but ‘intentional’ move for fun purposes. Talking to Newsweek, he said,

"It was light-hearted. It was certainly intentional; it wasn’t an accident. The How to Kill Your Family book was in our window anyway because it was our best-selling book of 2022. When we were putting Spare out this morning, we thought, ‘oh, let’s put them together, it will be funny,"
