A dramatic video is going viral showing a woman being rescued from her car before it became submerged in a sinkhole.?
The woman was driving her white sedan along in El Paso when a massive sinkhole opened up beneath her car due to heavy rain the area had received, CBS News reported.?
Video taken of the incident?shows some bystanders and firefighters using tools to keep the back end of the car somewhat above water, others are seen pulling the woman out of the car's rear windshield.?
While the woman was rescued, the rushing water was seen dragging down most of the car. Within a few minutes, the car is almost totally in the sinkhole, with only the very back of the trunk visible above water.? ?
"Earlier, EPFD crews successfully rescued a woman from a car that fell into a sinkhole on Yandell and Gateway South.?Patient transported with minor injuries. TXDOT and EP Water on the scene,"?the?El Paso Fire Department?said on Facebook.?
"Special thank you to the good Samaritans that assisted the crews in this rescue.?Area closed until further notice. Please use alternate routes," the fire department added.?

Luckily, the man managed to get out on his own and was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.?
The incident occurred while Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSCC) officials were responding to a water main break which later in the day caused the roadway to collapse into a sinkhole.? ??
Officials said part of the road had been closed off while a work crew carried out the repairs.?The?driver?apparently went through the closed-off area and drove into the sinkhole, completely submerging the vehicle in the water-filled hole.
The sinkhole was between 8 to 12-feet wide.
Sinkholes, which are found all over the world, can form gradually or appear very suddenly, making them extremely dangerous.
