In Yet Another Landmark ISRO's First Sun Mission Aditya-L1 Successfully Enters Final Orbit
ISRO has successfully placed the Aditya L1 spacecraft in a halo orbit around Lagrange point 1 (L1), approximately 1.5 million km from Earth. This ?400 crore mission marks India's first space-based observatory dedicated to studying the sun. Positioned at a Lagrange point, Aditya L1 will use minimal fuel to stay in place while conducting a five-year mission to unravel mysteries of the sun's chromosphere and corona. This achievement showcases India's growing prowess in space exploration and scientific research.
