22-year-old Dan Legg, a?millionaire,?has revealed how he jets around the world in luxury for half the price.
Hailing from Cheddar, Somerset (South West England), the self-made millionaire has shared some top money-saving tips he picked up along the way to enjoy the luxury experience for less, as per a report in?Mirror.
The seasoned traveller insists that booking last minute will get you the most value for money and has even managed to get half-price deals on private jets.
He reportedly said, ¡°A lot of people want to try it but they think it's never an option for them because of the cost, but when you travel a lot you get to know the hacks."
Dan reportedly revealed the top tips that he swears by for travelling with luxury which he says are tried and tested by himself.?His first (tip) is to look into 'empty leg flights', which are a way of experiencing a private flight with a price slash of up to 50%.
Dan has caught empty leg flights to Menorca, Paris and Jersey shelling out for only half the price of what it would ordinarily cost, as per the Mirror report.
He said that some brokers even sell empty seats on a private flight in order to fill the plane, giving you the luxury experience for a fraction of the price.?"It's especially good if you're travelling to somewhere like the south of France, where they have jets in and out all the time so they're easy to find."
The businessman uses a website called Just Jet to find his empty leg flights but flights still come at an eye-watering cost for most.
Dan's tips seem to hold the potential to bring a once in a lifetime experience a little closer to being affordable for some.?The jet setter also insisted on leaving flight and hotel bookings to the last minute in order to get the best deals.?He told how he has saved up to 30% with last-minute bookings that are within 48 hours of arrival and has never faced problems with availability.
