Its been more than 13 years since the heart wrenching 26/11 terror attack that took place in Mumbai, in the year 2008.?While the nation truly remembers each brave heart who fought the battle with terrorists, the story of a navy hero who played a role in the anti-terrorist operations during 26/11 and went on to build a ?25 crore turnover company, is untold to many of us.
Meet Ashvini Jakhar, who hails from a small village in Haryana.?

Ashvini had completed his medical studies at the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) in Pune and went on to rise to the rank of Surgeon Lieutenant Commander in the Indian Navy.?
During his service in navy medical, he was posted at the Taj and Oberoi hotels when the 26/11 terrorist attack happened in 2008. He played a vital role in the 26/11 anti-terrorist operations. As a medical officer in-charge of Naval Helicopter base in Colaba, Ashvini was responsible for the evacuation of casualties.
It had been Ashivni¡¯s dream to become a doctor and at that moment in Mumbai, he felt vindicated.?
Besides the 26/11 operations, Ashvini was also involved in setting up a dedicated 20-bedded hospital at Campbell Bay in Andaman and Nicobar Islands during the post tsunami rehabilitation project in 2007.
For the work done in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, he was awarded Sainya Seva medal by the President.

One day, Ashvini suffered a knee injury during a volleyball match while playing for his college team in a zonal competition. He got operated twice on the same knee, which unfortunately spoiled his chances of promotion in the navy.??
Then Ashvini decided to quit the Navy. He returned to the usual civilian life and began studying for the GMAT exams. After clearing it, he studied MBA at the prestigious ISB, Mohali campus in Punjab in 2012, which he states as the finest year of his life.
And then he took up a job offer from McKinsey as a strategic consultant, and kept on travelling worldwide in connection to his work.
After working for around 18 months with the company, he became an entrepreneur by starting his own company named Prozo in January 2015, with an investment of ?1 crore. Prozo is an ¡®e-commerce enabler & accelerator¡¯ for SMEs, D2C brands and enterprises.
From setting up Prozo with just 5 employees, the company now employs around 150 people and has already achieved a turnover of ?25 crore@
The company offers integrated supply chain technology, a pan-India warehousing and fulfilment network, and plug-and-play e-commerce seller services on 20+ online platforms including Myntra, Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa.
