In the wake of Geaves' departure, Ruchir Dave, a veteran of over 14 years at Apple and an alumnus of a college in Gujarat, is set to assume the position of the new Vice President of Acoustics at the company.
As per his LinkedIn profile, Ruchir Dave, an alum of a Gujarat college, has been associated with Apple for over 14 years, starting in 2009 as a lead in the Acoustics Engineer team. He subsequently advanced to the Manager level in May 2012 and continued to ascend the corporate hierarchy. In March 2021, Dave achieved the position of Senior Director within the company. Prior to his tenure at Apple, he spent almost a decade working at Cisco.
Ruchir Dave's educational background unfolds with his schooling at Sharadmandir, Ahmedabad, from 1982 to 1994, followed by graduation from Lalbhai Dalpatbhai College of Engineering, Ahmedabad, in 1998. His academic journey continued at Penn State University.
As reported by undisclosed sources, the information about Dave's new role at Apple remains confidential, and Bloomberg shared the news. Apple has yet to make an official announcement, and the disclosure has been limited to internal communication among the company's employees.
