After finishing high school, he moved from his village to Pune to begin his career. He worked as a room service boy, earning around Rs 9,000 a month after completing an ITI diploma. Before this, he was a daily wage-earner making some Rs 80 per day, reported in TOI. Instead of taking an industrial job, Bhagat joined an Infosys guest house, where he managed room service, tea, and water for guests.

While working at Infosys, Bhagat became interested in the software industry and realized its potential. Despite his fascination with the corporate world, he knew he needed a college degree to succeed. Encouraged to follow his passion for animation and design, he worked during the day and took animation classes in the evening. After completing the course, Bhagat got a job in Mumbai, but eventually moved to Hyderabad.
In Hyderabad, while working for a design and graphics company, Bhagat started learning Python and C++. He saw that creating visual effects took a lot of time and thought it would be useful to create a library of reusable templates. He began selling these design templates online.
After completing his animation course, Dadasaheb Bhagat landed his first real job in Mumbai. His career saw him working as a Roto Artist at Prime Focus World, contributing to Hollywood films like "Narnia" and "Star Wars." He further honed his skills at Reliance MediaWorks Ltd. and Magic N Colors Inc, working on various animation and visual effects projects.
In 2015, Bhagat faced a setback when he was involved in a car accident. Despite initial challenges, including relocating to his village in Beed due to the COVID-19 lockdown, Bhagat successfully set up operations in a makeshift office. According to reports, DooGraphics has 1 lakh global users, and it also has created jobs for over 1000 people. Bhagat¡¯s innovative approach and vision caught the attention of Shark Tank India. His pitch impressed the Sharks, leading to an investment offer from Aman Gupta. Initially, Aman offered Rs 1 crore for 10% equity without a royalty. After some negotiation, Bhagat agreed to a deal with Aman, securing the investment to further his business.
