After P Diddy, US rapper Kanye West faces legal action for assault on 'America's Next Top Model' contestant
Following P Diddy, the US rapper Kanye West is in serious trouble as the 'America's Next Top Model' contestant allegedly sued him for assaulting her during a music video shoot. The model in the lawsuit accused him of choking her until she blacked out during a music video shoot back in 2010
After Sean Diddy, another American rapper, Kanye West, falls into serious trouble. The US rapper has been sued for a sexual assault case after America's Next Top Model contestant Jenn An filed a lawsuit against him. The model in the complaint accused the artist of causing her to gag and choking her until she blacked out during a music video shoot back in 2010, reported People.
A few hours into the video shoot, Kanye West arrived and took control of the overall production team. Not only this, he specifically ordered the female background actors and models, including the model, to follow him towards the hallway, the suit alleges.
As per the People's report, the model accused the rapper of staging "his production" by asking the camera crew to film him choking her during the shooting of a music video for La Roux's song "In for the Kill" that features Kanye West on a remix.
Kanye West accused of sexual assault and strangulation
The incident took place at the Chelsea Hotel in New York City in September 2010, according to the lawsuit. It also alleges that the model told the rapper that she wasn't wearing very much, to which he replied that it was precisely why he chose her. He also asked other artists to leave the room, and then he wrapped his other hand around her neck and continued to strangle her with both hands until she blacked out.
The suit mentions that following this, the model struggled to breathe and felt as if she had blacked out for a minute. He then rammed several fingers down her throat and continuously moved them in and out, in what the suit refers to as ¡°pornographic gagging.¡±
Earlier allegations against Kanye West
This is not the first time that Kanye West has been at the centre of a lawsuit. The previous week, the rapper was sued by a former Yeezy staff member who claimed that he subjected him to antisemitic tirades. Last month a case was filed by his former assistant, accusing him of sexual assault and sex trafficking. However, his representatives have not responded to the lawsuit yet.
