Ahead Of Its Release In 2023, Fauda S4 To Premiere At International Film Festival of India 2022

This is quite a feat for India! The upcoming season 4 of Fauda is all set to premiere at the 53rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI). What¡¯s more the creators and executive producers Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff will be flying down to attend the festival that will mark the premiere of episode 1 on November 27th.

What is the show about?

For the unversed the series follows Doron, a commander in the Israel Defense Force. He along with his team are on a quest to track down a terrorist that goes by the codename ¡®The Panther¡¯.

The official synopsis of the show reads, "A top Israeli agent comes out of retirement to hunt for a Palestinian fighter he thought he'd killed, setting a chaotic chain of events into motion."

Creators and Executive Producers Lior Raz and Avi Isaacharoff said, ¡°We¡¯re so excited to come to India for the Asian premiere of Fauda Season 4. Fauda Season 4 sees the story move beyond Israel where Doron (Lior Raz) is in pursuit of a threat that has him crossing continents in his most dangerous mission yet.

As per statistics, India is one of the top 20 countries where Israeli content is most watched by Netflix members, and Israeli stories are globally popular with 90% of viewers Fauda (S1-S3) coming from outside Israel.

On the homeground, Fauda¡¯s Indian adaptation Taanav has opened to mixed reactions.

Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff will also take part in a fireside chat on ¡°Storytelling in The Era of Global Entertainment¡± with actor Rajkumar Rao. Streaming giant Netflix will also premiere Khakee: The Bihar Chapter, Qala and Guillermo Del Toro¡¯s Pinocchio at the festival.

Seasons 1-3 of Fauda are available to stream on Netflix.
