Bohurupi is set between 1998 and 2005 and follows the journey of a mysterious man on the run, caught in a high-stakes chase with a determined supercop.

In this gripping drama, Bikram (Shiboprosad Mukherjee) finds his life thrown into turmoil after his wrongful imprisonment.

During his time behind bars, he teams up with a skilled bank robber, eventually becoming a master imposter.

As he plans daring heists, including one at the Ajaygunj Co-operative Bank, he sparks a fierce pursuit with police officer Sumanta Ghosal (Abir Chatterjee).

The film explores themes of identity, justice, and the complexities of human nature.

Bohurupi has been a huge commercial success, earning over Rs 17.25 crore at the box office within 75 days of its release.

It became the highest-grossing Bengali film since the pandemic and the third-highest-grossing Bengali film ever.

Bohurupi is directed by Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy, with a talented cast led by Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Abir Chatterjee.
