Kawamura’s move is a bold one, it's not easy to go public and plead with a streaming giant like Netflix to promote a show. Whether Netflix takes his plea seriously remains to be seen. But once Moonrise is released, the results will speak for themselves. The viewership numbers will ultimately reveal whether the anime captures the audience’s attention or fades into obscurity.
