Dhakshina OTT Release Date: Last year, Sai Dhanshika headlined a crime actioner which has been awaiting a digital release for a long time. Directed by Tulasi Ram Osho, the Telugu film arrived in theatres on 4th October 2024 and received mixed response. Embrace OTT consumers, Dhakshina will be streaming on Lionsgate Play starting from February 21, 2025.

Dhakshina¡¯s plot summary

Set in Vizag, Dhakshina follows a series of brutal murders that shake the city to its core. A dedicated police officer, hell-bent on catching the serial killer, arrests a woman who has been seen at every crime scene. As the investigation deepens, the officer uncovers a shocking revelation that threatens to upend the entire case.

Other than Sai, the film also stars Rishav Basu, Sneha Singh, Hima Sailaja, Magna Choudhary, Karuna, Naveen and Ankitha among others. Produced by Ashok Shinde under the banner of Cult Concepts, Dhakshina is a DSR musical cinematographed by Ramakrishna Sanapathi and edited by Vinay. Mythri Movie Makers distributed this film which is written by Soni Raj Sonu alongside Osho.

Dhakshina¡¯s review

123Telugu rated the film 2.25 out of 5 and a part of their review read, ¡°Dakshina is an emotional crime mystery drama that ultimately falls short of making a significant impact. While the lead¡¯s character, some crime scenes, and the opening sequence are well executed, the slow screenplay, lack of engaging moments in the first half, and logical inconsistencies in critical sequences diminish its effectiveness. It¡¯s best to skip it and choose other entertainment options.¡±
