Genie, Make a Wish OTT Release Date: If you've ever wished for a K-drama filled with romance, magic, comedy, and a beloved on-screen couple, your wish is about to come true. Starring Kim Woo Bin and Bae Suzy, Genie, Make a Wish is all set to premiere on Netflix on October 3, 2025, according to What¡¯s on Netflix. This series marks the much-awaited reunion of the Uncontrollably Fond stars.
A fantasy love story with a twist
At the heart of Genie, Make a Wish is a whimsical and emotional story. Kim Woo Bin plays Genie, a magical being who lives inside a lamp. But unlike the usual genie we all know, this one is a rollercoaster of emotions, going from dramatic to humorous in seconds. One day, a woman named Ga Young (played by Bae Suzy) accidentally releases him.
Young is emotionally distant and reserved. She's the complete opposite of Genie. What happens when a man full of feelings meets a woman who¡¯s almost numb to them? Ga Young is granted three wishes, but in the process, she and Genie begin to heal each other¡¯s emotional wounds, forming a connection neither of them expected.
