What Is Ghost About?
The film chronicles the tale of an unidentified guy who attacks Karnataka's primary jail, taking the inmates and a top police official hostage. Another officer is AKED shortly to investigate and settle the issue. It soon becomes apparent that the man holding them captive is Dalavayi, a gangster.
The corrupt cop holding them hostage wants to keep all the gold that he found on his own during a CBI raid. He even killed a subordinate cop who was going to file a complaint against him. Dalavayi now wants that gold because he knew all of this. After a while, the investigating officer learns that Dalavayi's death from an accident may have caused his identity to change from what it was previously believed.

Shiva Rajkumar on Ghost and Leo BO clash
Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar discussed the box office battle between his film "Ghost" and the Vijay-starring "Leo" by saying that it is all about giving fans a great time during the festive season.
"It is not about clashing or coming against them ( 'Leo'), or who is best and who is better. Everyone wants to take advantage of the holiday (period) and (hence) the films are coming (on that day)," Rajkumar told PTI.
"We wish everybody well, let every film do well. Let people take advantage of the holiday season, come for all the films, so they can have a good festive time by watching all films," Rajkumar, known for films like ¡°Om¡±, ¡°Shiva¡±, ¡°Thamassu¡± , and ¡°Mufti¡± among others, added
