When Gyeongseong Creature debuted a few months ago, binge-watchers were thrilled. The exciting and swiftly evolving plot of the drama kept viewers on the edge of their seats. Although we were aware that season 2 was planned, we were unsure of the precise release date. Netflix announced in November 2022 that a second season is now in production. However, now, the OTT release date for Gyeongseong Creature season 2 has been revealed, and fans are overjoyed for all the right reasons. As shared by the streaming platform, Gyeongseong Creature season 2 will release on Netflix on 27th September 2024. The teaser was shared with the caption, ¡°In 2024 Seoul, enduring mysteries unravel when Chae-ok encounters Ho-jae, a man with an uncanny resemblance to Tae-sang. What twists of fate await them?¡±
Plot
The story, which is set in 1945 during the Imperial Japanese Army's occupation of Gyeongseong, the former name for Seoul, shows the cruelty inflicted on civilians by the Japanese forces, including the secret biological experiments on men and women, the rebellion led by women, and the monstrous creature created by human experimentation. Netflix hosted the inaugural season from December 22, 2023, to January 5, 2024.
The ten episodes of the series are divided into two parts; the first seven are released as Part 1, and the final three are released as Part 2 on January 5, 2024.

Gyeongseong Creature season 2 stars Park Seo-jun, Han So-hee, Lee Mu-saeng, Bae Hyeon-seong, and others. Chung Dong-yoon and Jo Yeong-min are the directors of the show. It has been written by Kang Eun-kyung.
