Haddi Twitter Review: Internet Is In Awe Of Nawazuddin Siddqui¡¯s Transgender Avatar

In the film "Haddi," Nawazuddin Siddiqui demonstrates his remarkable acting yet again. He has performed on the big screen numerous times, always leaving the crowds in awe. And this time as he returns to OTT after a few months, we see him in a never-seen-before avatar.

Nawazuddin's portrayal of a transgender person in the film, which explores the seedy criminal underground of Delhi NCR, Gurgaon, and Noida, has received praise. The grim story, which is directed by first-timer Akshat Ajay Sharma and co-written by Sharma and Adamya Bhalla, explores the depths of violence, treachery, and moral uncertainty.

Although it promises a compelling voyage into society's shadows, Nawazuddin Siddiqui's portrayal of Harika steals the show in this production.

Mohammed Zeeshan Was Difficult To Convince, Reveals ¡®Haddi¡¯ Maker Sanjay Saha

Talking about Zeeshan portraying Nawazuddin¡¯s spouse in Haddi, the producer of the film, Sanjay, pointed out: ¡°It wasn¡¯t a normal role but a very pivotal one, as he had to portray Nawazuddin¡¯s husband in the film. We tried to convince him a few times but he refused. But eventually, Zeeshan came back to us and said ¡®let¡¯s do it, I am getting a good feeling about it¡¯.¡±

Sanjay strongly believes that Zeeshan is a value addition to Haddi as he said: ¡°Working with him was a good experience since he took his part very seriously. Though it isn¡¯t a big role in terms of screen time but it¡¯s very important and takes the narrative ahead. Considering the sensitivity of his character, Zeeshan has performed it with a lot of dedication and acted very well, to the extent that you can actually feel the romance and chemistry between Nawazuddin and him, and that¡¯s exactly what was required ¨C perfect bit of that magical romance.¡±
