In a heartfelt post on social media, the actor Paddy Considine, who played King Viserys in the well-liked series, bid farewell to his part.

He captioned the post, "Thank you for the kind words. I cannot reply to every comment, but I'd like to acknowledge that they haven't been lost upon me, It was an incredible adventure where I made lots of new friends that will be with me for the rest of my life. I'd like to thank the creators for allowing me the freedom to make Viserys my own. I have never loved a character so much."
Paddy Thanked Sian Brooke In His Post

The majority of Paddy's post was devoted to thanking Sian Brooke, who portrayed Viserys' wife Aemma in the first episode. She passed away while giving birth, and Considine outlined how her passing affected every aspect of Viserys for the remainder of his plot line.
He further wrote "I want to give a massive love and respect to [Sian Brooke] who came in for only a few days, but changed the course of my character with her brilliant performance and commitment to the work," the actor continued. "The impact stayed with me until my final improvised words. She unlocked the missing piece of the puzzle for me and allowed my story to come full circle. From the moment she dies, so does Viserys. It was a love story. That's the secret I carried with me. As sick as he gets, he never, himself, demands any cure. He quietly accepts his suffering, never forgiving himself for putting his beloved wife through such torture in her final moments. Viserys was a gift. I am so honoured he found me. Now, no more."
Now, that King Viserys bids goodbye to the popular series House Of The Dragon, there has been a lot of speculation about whether he will be returning in the upcoming seasons or not.

As reported by The New York Times, King Viserys' tense connection with his children from his marriage to Alicent Hightower was explored by Paddy Considine. Viserys plainly favours Rhaenyra, his only surviving child from his first marriage, despite having four children with her. During Episode 8, he even goes so far as to refer to her as his "only child" in his madness. Given how little Viserys seemed to care about characters like Aegon and Aemond, it's not unexpected that they harbour a lot of anger.
Will Viserys come back to the Dragon House?
There will be viewers who wonder if Viserys could return given that the eighth episode of House of the Dragon ended with his death, even if the show takes place in a magical world with magical animals. But King Viserys is no more as Paddy stated in his post.
