House of The Dragon episode 4 dropped early this morning and fans are awestruck! While most of us thought that it¡¯s next to impossible to recreate the phenomenon that Game Of Thrones became, it looks like HOTD makers are hell bent on proving us wrong.

In a nutshell, there¡¯s an incestuous spark, a late night tryst, dismissal of the hand, a wedding announcement and tumultuous conversations. Rhaenyra and Daemon Targaryen prove to be the MVPs. Parallely, King Viserys finally comes to his own and is seen taking some very significant decisions that will change the course of the plot tremendously.

If you are still trying to calm your beating heart from watching the rendezvous between Princess Rhaenyra and her uncle and rogue prince Daemon, then you are not alone. If secretly you are rooting for them to become a couple then you definitely aren¡¯t the only one!
Now, the consequences of their late night tryst at the brothel house hardly remained a secret for a hot minute and soon became a big bone of contention for Hand Otto, King Viserys and Queen Alicent as they were seen scratching their heads collectively. Daemon didn¡¯t help at all as he boldly asked for the princess¡¯s hand in marriage which resulted in yet another exile for him.

Rhaenyra, on the other hand, has to now enter wedlock with Seasnake aka Lord Corlys Valeryon¡¯s son Laenor to save her honor and strengthen the crown¡¯s ties with one of the most powerful houses of the realm at the same time. Towards the end of the episode, the maester is seen bringing tea for the lovely princess much to her chagrin. Turns out it¡¯s the medieval days¡¯ equivalent of the morning after pill!

Despite her confession of not sleeping with her uncle, King Viserys has no intentions to take her word as he seems to have resorted to damage control. The moon tea will ensure that Rhaenyra doesn¡¯t give birth to a bastard and eliminate all rumors of her notorious affair. Let¡¯s not forget that she did give her flower on the fateful night even if it wasn¡¯t to Daemon but Ser Criston Cole.
Viserys is now all guns blazing to secure the house Targaryen and his chosen heir albeit without trusting his daughter.
As for the next episode ¡°We Light The Way'', the preview promises a scintillating ride as it shows glimpses from the royal wedding of Rhaenyra-Laenor, King¡¯s impending death and Aegon¡¯s claim to the throne.
