Kaadhal Enbadhu Podhu Udamai OTT Release Date: When and where to watch Lijomol Jose-Rohini¡¯s Tamil queer drama

Kaadhal Enbadhu Podhu Udamai OTT Release Date: Lijomol Jose recently headlined a queer drama which opened in theatres with positive response. Initially screened at 54th International Film Festival of India (2023), the Tamil saga arrived on the big screen on 14 February 2025. The film is now ready for its OTT debut. Kaadhal Enbadhu Podhu Udamai will stream on Tentkotta from March 14.

Written and directed by Jayaprakash Radhakrishnan, the film also stars Vineeth, Rohini, Anusha Prabhu, Kalesh Ramanand and Deepa Shankar among others. Produced by Mankind Cinemas, Symmetry Cinemas and Nith's Productions, Kaadhal Enbadhu Podhu Udamai is cinematographed by Sree Saravanan, edited by Dani Charles and Kannan Narayanan handling the music.

Kaadhal Enbadhu Podhu Udamai follows Sam, a young woman in love with another woman, Nandhini. When Sam reveals her relationship to her mother, Lakshmi, and the family, they react with shock and rejection. As Sam navigates her mother¡¯s anger and her father¡¯s return with the belief that her sexuality can be ¡°fixed,¡± the story explores the family¡¯s struggle to accept her love while Sam fights to stay true to herself and her relationship.

The Times of India rated the film 3.5 out of 5 and a part of their review read, ¡°Kaadhal Enbathu Podhu Udamai isn¡¯t exactly a culture shock.
